For Parents & Caregivers

This interactive workshop for parents and those who provide care for young children is designed to help adults increase their knowledge about anger and strong emotion in young children and the developmental stages of social emotional self-control. Through discussion and skill-building activities parents and caregivers learn what anger is and what triggers anger, explore ways to practice and reinforce positive communication skills, and learn methods of incorporating children’s literature into the process of teaching problem solving skills.
