Two Michigan State University (MSU) students have been awarded the Jack and Betty Barnes Scholarship from the Michigan Dairy Memorial and Scholarship Foundation for the 2013-14 academic year.
Chelsea Render is a student at MSU's College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a 2009 graduate of CANR's animal science program. After she graduates in May 2014, Render plans to enter rural veterinary practice.
Two collegiate dairy cattle judging teams from Michigan State University (MSU) traveled to the 2014 Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show in Fort Worth, Texas, in January to compete in the Southwest Senior Dairy Cattle Judging Contest.
