Two collegiate dairy cattle judging teams from Michigan State University (MSU) traveled to the 2014 Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show in Fort Worth, Texas, in January to compete in the Southwest Senior Dairy Cattle Judging Contest.

Carmen Metzer is an undergraduate in Lyman Briggs College at MSU and competed in the undergraduate poster competition at the 2013 Midwest ASAS meetings in Des Moines March 22-13 and won third place.
