Cow Camp
May 17, June 11 and June 12, 2008
Cows may not be the first thing a person thinks of when signing up for summer camp, but that's all about to change! Dairy Youth Cow Camp is a series of one-day workshops which will be held across the state to introduce and educate young people about dairy cattle. Registration fee of $5 is due one week before each camp. Details are available on this pdf.

| Michigan Dairy Replacement Heifer Project |
| This new program offers unique opportunities for both Michigan youth and dairy producers. The Michigan Dairy Heifer Replacement Project allows youth to learn more about the diary industry through the selection, raising, breeding and marketing of dairy heifers. Participants will gain dairy knowledge and experience, and they will also sell their heifers at the 2007 Michigan Dairy Expo, allowing producers from across the state to purchase high quality replacement heifers.
