Internal Advisory Committee
The Internal Advisory Committee (IAC) is comprised of senior leaders on the Michigan State University (MSU) campus representing the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition (FSHN), the Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology (PHM), the Institute for Integrative Toxicology (IIT), AgBio Research, the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR), and the Office of the Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies (VPRGS). The CRIS Director & Endowed Chair is an ex officio member of the IAC.
The IAC provides the day-to-day administrative oversight of CRIS to ensure that the center is focused on meeting its goals, milestones and objectives. The IAC has fiscal oversight of the programs within CRIS to insure the appropriate distribution of resources. Finally, the IAC is responsible for appointing the non-industry members to both the External Advisory Committee (EAC), and the Emerging Issues Committee (EIC). The IAC generally meets face-to-face monthly. The members of the IAC are also encouraged to attend the CRIS Annual Meeting.
