This animal career exploration program is designed for youth ages 12-19 and adult volunteers. Participants will learn about all the available opportunities within the fields of animal science and veterinary medicine, not just as a student, but also long-term career options. There will be breakout sessions dedicated to various areas of each field.

At this time, registration is full. Interested individuals are welcome to join the waitlist in the event current registrants cancel.

Cost: $35

Cost to attend includes two meals. Payment is due at the time of registration.

  • 11:00 Career Exploration and Workforce Prep Activity
  • 12:00 Lunch*
  • 1:00 Learning Labs
  • 5:00 Dinner*
  • 6:00 Discipline Sessions
  • 8:00 Conclusion

Participants will pre-select their breakout sessions during registration.

This event is open to youth ages 12-19 (as of January 1, 2024). Adult spots are extremely limited and are intended for Gold-Level Michigan 4-H volunteers. We can only accommodate registered participants, so parents and guardians should drop their youth off in the morning and pick them up at the conclusion of the event.
