Date: October 8, 2015
Time: 7 p.m.

Laurence J. Kotlikoff thinks that politics, government and the economic system are destroying the American dream.

Nationally-known and often provocative Kotlikoff is a professor of economics at Boston University.

In his lecture, Professor Kotlikoff intends to be provocative.

“American is at war with its children,” Kotlikoff said. “This war is waged month after month, year after year, decade after decade – by both parties. It has one objective, which it has almost achieved – to destroy the American dream.”

Kotlikoff believes that this ‘war’ is saddling future generations with massive fiscal liabilities, a deteriorating climate, third-rate education, an economy increasingly manned by machines, and government institutions that are user nightmares.

Professor Kotlikoff is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, a Fellow of the Econometric Society, a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research, and many other prestigious titles and positions.
