Arbor Day Celebration

Celebrate Arbor Day at Hidden Lake Gardens.  Arbor Day is a commemoration of the beauty and benefits of trees. Family fun activities revolve around the celebration of Trees and Nature!

10:00 AM - Arbor Day Tree Planting Ceremony with the Boys and Girls Club of Hudson, MI.

11:00 AM - Classroom Critters with Mr. Paul McCormack including tree frogs, birds, snakes, and mice.

1:00 PM - Spring Ephemeral Walk with Mr. Bob Smith - a guided walk among the woodland trees in search of spring wildflowers.

1:00 PM - Classroom Critters with Mr. Paul McCormack - a repeat performance of his 11:00 AM program.

Ongoing Activities from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM:

Hands-On "Make and Take" Crafts - Leaf Rubbings and Paint Stamping.

The Scars and Stories of a Tree - Ms. Sheryl Moll will demonstrate the life and times of a tree according to its "cookies."

Tree Seedlings - each family attending Arbor Day at Hidden Lake Gardens will receive a tree seedling to take home and plant.
