Biomass Energy from Forests
Date: April 13, 2012
Location: Biomass Energy from Forests 152 Natural Resources Building
How much forest-based biomass is available? How can we sustainably produce woody material for fuel? How can we efficiently produce biofuel? These questions and more will be explored at a one-day symposium on “Biomass Energy from Forests” presented by the MSU Department of Forestry on Friday, April 13 from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. in 152 Natural Resources Building.
The symposium, sponsored by MSU’s Department of Forestry and AgBioResearch, is part of MSU Forestry’s Hanover Forest Science Seminar Series and will feature researchers from the Michigan Forest Biofuels Research Project.
