Day Of Agriculture Dinner

Date: July 28, 2014 - August 1, 2014
Location: Jem-Lot Dairy, 15456 West Centerline Rd, in Westphalia, MI 48894

The Great Lakes Leadership Academy (GLLA) is planning a full “Day of Agriculture” for the 2014-2015 Leadership Advancement Program (LAP) participants and their spouses on Friday, August 1, 2014. This special session is designed to inform participants about Michigan agriculture and the dynamic impact the industry has on our state’s economy. The GLLA LAP “Day of Agriculture” will bring together rural and urban leaders to focus on what we have in common, and what we can do together for the State of Michigan.

The current LAP participants engaged in production agriculture have taken responsibility to plan and host a tour in central Michigan. The tour will highlight farms of current GLLA LAP participants, GLLA alumni, alumni of the Kellogg Farmer Study Program and the Michigan Agriculture Leadership Program and will conclude with a dinner to be held at Jem-Lot Dairy, 15456 West Centerline Rd, in Westphalia, MI 48894.

The Great Lakes Leadership Academy cordially invites you to join the GLLA LAP participants, local agriculture leaders, and GLLA supporters for dinner at 7 pm. Please RSVP to Christy Roman at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or (517) 353-6472 no later than Thursday, July 17, 2014. We hope you will be able to join these emerging leaders from around the state as they learn about Michigan agriculture.
