The MSU College of Law’s Journal of Animal and Natural Resource Law presents Deforestation and Biodiversity Loss in a Climate Change Context.

This symposium will highlight current concerns surrounding rainforest deforestation as a cause of climate change and threats to wildlife and biodiversity as a consequence of climate change. The event will raise awareness of and encourage discussion of various topics including the socioeconomic and political drivers of deforestation, forest carbon monitoring, managed relocation of species and international conservation development projects.
