Introduction to Holistic Management

An introduction will be given on the following topics:

  • Key insights supporting holistic management
  • Reading the land’s ecosystem processes
  • Understanding our use of tools on the land
  • How to make decisions looking at economic, cological, and social needs simultaneously
  • How to plan for a profit, choose enterprises,and prioritize expenses
  • How to plan and pay for infrastructure improvements
  • How to monitor for biological capital growth
  • How to plan for animals to be at the right place, at the right time, and for the right reasons

Why this information is important: Understanding holistic management allows for you to plan, manage, and grow your business to build wealth while building biological capital, and meeting the needs of the people involved.

$150.00 per participant. $75.00 for the second person from the same farm. Registration is limited to 20 people. A minimum of 2 on-farm decision makers are encouraged but not required to attend.
