The Landscape Architecture (LA) Alumni Advisory Board and the School of Planning, Design and Construction invites you to attend the upcoming LA Distinguished Speaker Series presentation, featuring Mario Schjetnan, American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Fellow and CEO of Grupo de Diseno Ubano in Mexico. The event takes place on Thursday, February 20, 2014, from 6pm–7pm in Room 300 of the Human Ecology Building in East Lansing. Schjetnan will discuss his accomplishments in “International Water Resource Planning.”

Grupo de Diseno Ubano has executed a wide range of projects, including diverse typologies and scales in architecture, urban design and landscape architecture. The GDU and Mario Schjetnan have been distinguished with national and international awards and recognitions in architecture, urban design and landscape architecture.

His presentation will be preceded by an optional tour of the Broad Art Museum from 4:30pm-5:30pm and a short meet-and-greet from 4:45-5:15 p.m. A reception will immediately follow his presentation.
