Michigan Citizen Planner Classroom Program: Manistee County - Session 4

Michigan Citizen Planner provides time-tested educational programs on important local issues that are proven to be comprehensive without being overwhelming. The program is offered locally to provide a convenient way for busy volunteer community leaders to obtain the latest technical knowledge and information they need to perform their duties more effectively and responsibly. Citizen Planner participants report the program fosters greater awareness of land use decision makers’ roles and responsibilities, resulting in more livable communities, the protection and conservation of natural resources, and better overall land use decisions throughout Michigan.

The fourth session wiIl be: Roles and Responsibilities, Part II - Zoning, Site Plans and Zoning Board of Appeals Process. It will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016 at the Norman Township Hall/Community Center, Wellston, MI. Registration opens July 22, 2016.

Course Fee

The course fee is $295 per participant for the complete core program. Group discounts are available for four or more. The fee covers registration, course materials and refreshments. Participants that complete all seven sessions will receive a certificate of completion.
