ODP First Tuesday Mixer

Date: December 4, 2012
Location: Brody Square, MSU

The ODP First Tuesday Mixer will focus on “Funding Your Own Graduate Education”, featuring guest speaker, Shobha Ramanand.

Ramanand is a research specialist in the Office of the Vice President Research & Graduate Studies and the co-author of Knowledge-Driven Work: Unexpected Lessons from Japanese and U.S. Work Practices (1998).

The purpose of First Tuesday Mixers is to provide a space where students can come together to gain a sense of community with peers and faculty beyond the classroom walls. CANR Graduate Students will have the opportunity to interact with faculty, visiting scholars, guest speakers and peers and can use this as a venue to give and receive supportive advice on academic concerns and to network with others.

The event will take place in Brody Square in the large private dining room of the dining hall. The event begins at 4:45 p.m. and concludes at 6:00 p.m.
