Pullorum Certification Workshop

Date: March 8, 2016 - March 8, 2016
Time: 8:30 a.m. - noon
Location: MSU Pavilion for Agriculture and Livestock Education

All poultry and game birds except waterfowl and pigeons are required to be blood tested for Pullorum disease before exhibition or movement within the state. Most states require that all poultry, including game birds, have a negative Pullorum test to enter. At this workshop, participants will be informed about the test and about filling out the paperwork associated with testing. They will be required to perform the test. All necessary equipment and materials needed for testing will be provided. Please bring a writing utensil.

The workshop will take place no matter the weather. The workshop is free; however, there is a $20 fee to be certified for 3 years, payable in cash or personal check at the door. Checks should be payable to Michigan Allied Poultry Industries or MAPI. There is no need to pre-register.
