Pullorum Certification Workshop

March 7, 2017 8:30 a.m. - noon

MSU Pavilion for Agriculture and Livestock Education

All poultry and gamebirds except waterfowl and pigeons are required to be blood tested for Pullorum disease before exhibition or movement within the state. Most states require that all poultry, including gamebirds, have a negative Pullorum test to enter the state. At this workshop, participants will learn about the test and about filling out the paperwork associated with testing, and will be required to perform the test. All necessary equipment and materials needed for testing will be provided. Please bring a writing utensil.

The workshop will take place no matter the weather. The workshop cost is $5 to participate or $30 fee to participate and become certified for 3 years. Registrations can be submitted at https://events.anr.msu.edu/anrweekpullorumcertification/.
