Seasonal Interest in the Garden

Date: September 26, 2015
Location: Hidden Lake Gardens

Time: 10:30 a.m.

Even after a long dry summer, a well-planned garden can still look attractive and offer many points of interest.  Several perennials produce an abundance of flowers at this time of year. Ornamental grasses, evergreens, fruits and berries as well as colorful bark can add interest and structure to the garden.  A wide variety of changing foliage colors will also enhance the garden.

Horticulturist, Ellyn Meyers, will show images to inspire you and provide recommendations for specific plants and plant combinations to increase seasonal interest in your garden.  We will then go for a walk to see examples of these plantings at Hidden Lake Gardens.
