Interested in starting or expanding a small farm to produce any or all of the major sheep and goat products (fiber, meat or milk)? Don’t miss this special day-long education event.

Program Agenda:

8:30 a.m. – 9 a.m.           Registration

9 a.m. ‒ 9:30 a.m.           Defining and realizing goals for sheep and goat production

9:40 a.m. ‒ 10:30 a.m.    Feeding small ruminants in a small farm system

10:40 a.m. ‒ noon           Establishing and maintaining a high health status in your herd

Noon – 1 p.m.                 Lunch

1 p.m. – 4 p.m.               Optimizing management to meet farm goals (choosing a production system, choosing breeds, meeting production quality standards and marketing)
