Spring Bird Walk with Juliet Berger

Come learn the sights and sounds of birds with naturalist and bird guide, Juliet Berger. Spring is here, and we welcome back many Warbler species nesting at the Gardens as well as those Warblers migrating through. Northern Flicker, Baltimore Oriole, and Rose-breasted Grosbeak will be nesting at HLG. Keep your eyes peeled for the chance to glimpse Golden-crowned and Ruby-crowned Kinglets and other spring migratory birds. Learn the song the American Robin, our state bird, and many more. Binoculars and hiking shoes or boots are highly recommended for this 2-3 hour walk. Cost is $5 per person / $3 Friends of HLG. Please call 517-431-2060 to register.
Juliet Berger is a lifelong birder and enthusiastic presenter on all things birds. She currently works as an ornithologist at Natural Area Preservation in Ann Arbor, MI, and serves as President of the Washtenaw Audubon Society.
