April 2005 Meeting Minutes

4/18/05 

Erin:
-symposium went well
-suggestion: more positive feed-back from evaluations

-deciding on international dinner, graduate BBQ, or combination of both
-temporary date is June 10
-Chrisyln and Dario will talk to faculty about dinner and their availability

-travel grants: applications due by end of June
-thesis printing: applications due if graduating
	-links to forms on website

-Jessica leaving so Tara is temporary treasurer

Rolo:
-guest Christina Lewis from Oklahoma to check out MSU
-looking to work on Master’s and interested in environmental stresses

-Mother’s Day Sale: selling hanging baskets of annuals 
-week before Mother’s Day (May 8th) - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 
-need HOGS members help in collecting money and selling

Dan (Hort Club):
SPRING SHOW: help set-up Thursday/Friday
-list on board in head-house if want to help
-dedication on Friday 5pm in head house
-SIGN UP FOR TIMES TO SELL HOGS ORNAMENTAL GRASSES- see Matt Blanchard for details!!

Chrislyn (GPC):
-lunch seminar 12:30-1:30pm on Friday with seminar speaker Dr. van der Knaap
-email Kristi if want to attend by Thursday
