State 4-H Horse Show

The State 4-H Horse Show is a three day event that brings together more than 500 4-H'ers representing Michigan counties. English, dressage, western, trail, jumping and gymkhana classes are offered for horses and ponies. Members are selected by their county 4-H programs to participate in this event. In 1997, the State 4-H Horse Show began offering classes for riders from county 4-H PEP (Horseback Riding For Handicappers) programs. Demonstrations & informational exhibits are also available for participants and spectators to enjoy. The State 4-H Horse Show is held in mid August at the MSU Pavilion.
