International Food Laws Certificate Program

Winner of the Excellence Award in College and University Distance Education from the American Distance Education Consortium (ADEC)

The online International Food Law Certificate Program is sponsored by the Institute for Food Laws & Regulations (IFLR). This distance education program consists of a series of region-specific or topic-specific food law courses taught by an international network of academic and legal professionals who understand the legal complexities of food laws and regulations and how they impact the flow of food and agricultural products across national boundaries.

Students earn a Certificate in International Food Law upon satisfactory completion of twelve credits from among a selection of thirteen IFLR courses.

IFLR courses are university accredited graduate-level courses. Courses may be taken in any order as you work towards earning a certificate. Up to nine credits may be eligible for transfer towards an online Master of Jurisprudence or Master of Laws in Global Food Law at Michigan State University College of Law.
