Account Manager ($40-50k base salary + commission)

Location: Arvada, Colorado (main office | global sales territory)

Description
Plan-It Geo provides geospatial technology solutions for urban forestry, green infrastructure and
parks planning, and natural resource management. Tree Plotter software is our flagship product
and the focus of this position. We are seeking a driven, goal-oriented, ethical team member with
diverse interests and experience/education in the environment, technology, and business
fields. Candidates should be motivated, suited for a fast-paced growing firm, able to develop
long-term relationships with existing clients and industry partners, and have excellent
communication, presentation, and writing skills. The primary objective of the Account Manager
position is to retain software clients by ensuring they receive impeccable customer service and
have ready knowledge of our tools, modules, and training resources. The position includes sales
support, client follow ups and subscription tracking, related product development, marketing
support, and training / demos. This is a great opportunity to join the fastest growing company in

Primary responsibilities of the position:

  • Maintain and build upon existing client relationships
  •  Aid in new client software launch, and support onboarding and training
  •  Identify client needs and promote available add-on modules and customization
  •  Accountable for maintaining client software subscriptions and contact information
  •  Support sales through training, demos, and quotes
  •  Invoice subscription renewals and purchase of add-on modules
  •  Engage internally as a liaison on technical product marketing content, sales, application
    development and training
  •  Identify opportunities for new product development through customer interaction
  •  Drive innovation of self-service educational resources, how-to guides, FAQ, and videos

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  •  1-2 years in an account manager or customer success role
  •  Degree in business, forestry, environmental studies, or related field
  •  Work experience in the municipal or private urban forestry sector
  •  Familiar with mapping/GIS and data management applications
  •  Experience working in a SaaS company environment
  •  Successful utilization of a CRM including customer service and training
