Farm Educational Technology and Marketing Assistant Intern

Job Description:

Allen Neighborhood Center is seeking an intern or volunteer who is familiar with farm/Ag industry, good with people, technology, and social media. This intern will work in the newly opened Allen Market Place with the Exchange – a program linking farmers in mid-Michigan with local commercial buyers.


Our intern should be a self starter and team player, have attention to detail, excellent writing & editing skills, be a creative problem solver, good with teaching technology to adult learners, and comfortable using both Mac, PC and tablet platforms. Candidate must have software experience with MS Word. Adobe creative suite software (specifically InDesign and Photoshop) a plus.

Monday and Wednesdays 10-14 hours a week— prefer Junior level or higher.
Experience with photography/video a plus.
