Job Description

CORE Landscaping is seeking a professional seeking a career in the landscape industry. The Landscape Foreman is responsible for the installa=on and management of landscape and hardscape projects. The foreman is responsible for comple=ng landscape and hardscape installa=ons with great precision and business minded efficiency. Landscape Foreman will also need to have basic design and es=ma=on abili=es for comple=ng onsite change orders. Landscape Foreman will also play a cri=cal role in snow removal opera=ons during the winter months.

Essen;al Func;ons:  Basic landscape design and es=ma=on  Direct ac=vi=es on the job site, they include but are not limited to: coordina=ng work flow, hands on work, and opera=ng a variety of machinery  Manage personnel effec=vely and efficiently.  Communica=ng produc=on goals (and other items) with crew members, supervisors, and clients  Train and promote the development of subordinates in the best prac=ces of installa=on and company standards  Monitor all tools, equipment and machinery for needed maintenance  Track and record all job expenses, including but not exclusively materials and hours worked Other du;es as required Responsibili;es:  Supervises and manages landscape crew.  Ensures that each crew member is trained appropriately for each designated job assignment  Par=cipates in and conducts all job site safety briefings with crew members  Ensures that all crew members u=lize all required personal protec=ve equipment  Understands and instructs crew members on proper job site security procedures  Ensures that all installa=on work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards  Ensures that all equipment safety and maintenance procedures are followed  Performs administra=ve func=ons pertaining to crew management  Interacts with clientele in order to help ensure job sa=sfac=on  Understands financial aspects of each job assignment  Supervises all crew members during the performance of all assigned work  Leads by example  Reports for duty at the designated loca=on on =me each day  Follows direc=ons from supervisor  Ensures that all safety rules and company safety policies are adhered to  Par=cipates in all safety training sessions offered, asks ques=ons, and improves job safety skills  Communicates well with all crew members, supervisor and client  Strives to improve job skills and develop the poten=al for upward mobility  Track and record all job expenses and hours worked accurately  Maintain clean and safe job site  Operate snow removal equipment Requirements:  Associates degree in Landscape Hor=culture or Equivalent  3+ years’ experience in landscape design and installa=on  Ability to work outdoors in all weather condi=ons  Class A Commercial Driver’s License (preferred) and reputable driving record  Proficient heavy equipment opera=ng skills including front end loaders, mini-excavators, and skid steer machinery with various aFachments; other construc=on equipment as needed  Extensive knowledge and experience in installing a variety of hardscape applica=ons  Knowledge of perennials, shrubs, evergreens, and trees: iden=fica=on and cultural requirements  Highly mo=vated, self-driven individual  Excellent aFen=on to detail while working in a fun & fast paced environment  Verbal & wriFen communica=on skills  Good =me management skills; be available for long hours all year round  Ability to priori=ze and mul=-task  Able to work effec=vely with individuals of differing knowledge and background (i.e. clients, contractors, vendors, other designers)  Clean and professional appearance  Punctual and dependable Qualified candidates please email resumes’ to: Eli Corbin CORE Landscaping 715-399-2754 office
