Covenant HealthCare will be installing 73 new exterior signs at our Main Campus, 700 Cooper, Saginaw, MI. The Main Campus consists of 9 buildings totaling more than 600,000 sq. ft. and sits on approximately 40 acres. We will need landscaping around many of the signs, and would like to take this opportunity to improve the overall landscaping. This opportunity includes: landscape design, developing proposals, presenting proposed designs and costs, maintaining the budget, and installing new plants and beds on approved projects.
Covenant HealthCare is seeking an individual that can demonstrate competency in landscape design and maintenance including: plant identification and application, sustainability, irrigation maintenance, and landscape installation. The overall goal is to design an attractive, sustainable and low maintenance landscape that will beautify Covenant HealthCare’s Main Campus.
Seasonal Full-time Position May 26, 2014, through August 15, 2014.
8 hours/per day Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. May vary.
The Landscape Intern will report directly to the Grounds Specialist and will present projects to the Facilities Services Manager-Engineering.
Must possess a valid driver’ s license.
Must have a strong work ethic.
Must possess the ability to work independently and be a team player.
The successful candidate will be well organized and able to manage projects.
