The spring 4-H Paper Clover Campaign begins April 13 at local Tractor Supply Company (TSC) stores. This national campaign by TSC and 4-H has been held in the spring and fall of each year since 2010 at each of Tractor Supply Company’s 1,400 stores — including the 79 stores in Michigan.

“For many years, the Paper Clover fundraiser has allowed us to provide thousands of 4-H youth across the country greater access to 4-H programs,” said Jennifer Sirangelo, National 4-H Council president and CEO. “We are thrilled about our continued partnership with Tractor Supply Company as it drives the excitement of local community participation and support for 4-H programs and therefore the success of the 4-H Paper Clover Campaign.”

Through April 24, customers at TSC stores will be able to buy paper 4-H clovers for $1 at checkout, with proceeds benefiting the 4-H program where the store is located. Sixty-five percent of all funds raised will support the county 4-H program, 5 percent supports the state 4-H program, and 30 percent will go to National 4-H Council for underwriting the cost of the program. This partnership provides direct support for local 4-H activities including after-school programs and other projects, and provides scholarships to events where youth can explore their interests in everything from animal science to robotics.

“The Paper Clover fundraiser is a significant part of Tractor Supply Company’s support of 4-H programs throughout the 1,300 communities we serve,” said Christi Korzekwa, TSC vice president for marketing. “We are proud to be able to provide essential funding to more than 1,000 county 4-H programs. These programs make a positive impact on young people that lasts a lifetime. The continued success of the Tractor Supply Paper Clover fundraisers demonstrates the importance of our 4-H partnership with our customers, team members and communities.”

The most recent fundraiser, held Oct. 7-18, 2015, raised nearly $32,000 for Michigan 4-H and almost $894,000 nationally.

Once again, funds donated during the spring campaign will be tracked online and recorded by state and by store. Visit www.tractorsupply.com/4-H for more information on the spring 2016 4-H Paper Clover Campaign and to view the donation tracker.
