1980s

James W. Lloyd (Ph.D., 1989), after over two decades as an AFRE faculty member and a decade as associate dean in the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine, was named dean of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine  (http://www.gainesville.com/article/20130501/ARTICLES/130509932).

2010s

Joshua Ariga (Ph.D., 2013) is a scientist-economics at the International Fertilizer Development Center in Muscle Shoals, Ala.

Jordan Chamberlin (Ph.D., 2013) started June 1, 2013, as an assistant professor, international development, in AFRE, stationed in Zambia.

Charapon Chantorn (M.S., 2013) started working July 1, 2013, as a policy analyst, Official of Agricultural Economics, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, in Bangkok Thailand.

Timothy Hodge (Ph.D., 2013) began working Aug. 5, 2013, as a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Economics, Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa.

Sung Hoon Kang (Ph.D., 2013) started working Aug. 5, 2013, as an associate research fellow, Korea Institute of Public Finance in Seoul, South Korea.

Milu Muyanga (Ph.D., 2013) started June 15, 2013, as an assistant professor (Food Security Group) in AFRE

Tina Plerhoples (Ph.D. expected, 2013) began work June 5, 2013, as a research associate at the Urban Institute in Washington, D.C.

Julius Kirimi Sindi (Ph.D., 2013) continues his work as an impact assessment specialist at the International Potato Center in Nairobi, Kenya.

Scott Weicksel (M.S., 2013) began work in April 2013 as a senior analyst in marketing performance at the Neilsen Company in Chicago.

Fang Xia (Ph.D. 2013) is working as an assistant professor at the Central University of Finance and Economics in Beijing, China.
