Three BAE Professors were recognized at the 2022 Annual Academic Service Recognition Reception

Three Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering (BAE) faculty members were recognized at the 2022 Annual Academic Service Recognition Reception.

Michigan State University and the Office of the Provost take pleasure in recognizing years of service for faculty and academic staff. The University honors long term faculty and academic staff at an annual Service Recognition reception which is held in the fall. Faculty and academic staff are recognized upon completion of 25 years of service and at subsequent five year intervals.

BAE had three faculty members recognized at this year's reception.

  • Jon Althouse, BAE Instructor, was recognized for 35 years of service
  • Ajit Srivastava, BAE Professor, was recognized for 45 years of service
  • Truman Surbrook, BAE Professor, was recognized for 57 years of service
