Boot Camp for Farmers

The Albion Food Hub is hosting a free half-day workshop for farmers in Albion, MI. This workshop will cover financial planning, business literacy, and food safety practices.

The Albion Food Hub, in partnership with Morse Marketing Connections, is hosting a free half-day workshop in Albion, Michigan. This workshop will help farmers learn about potential ways to grow their business and connect to new markets in the mid-Michigan area. Financial and food safety experts will also share successful ways Michigan farmers are opening doors to new markets through improved financial readiness and food safety practices.

WHAT:  “Boot Camp for Farmers: Financial Planning, Business Literacy, & Food Safety. This free workshop includes lunch and updates from Albion Food Hub.

WHEN: Friday, November 14, 2014 from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

WHERE: Albion College Equestrian Center, 611 E. Porter St., Albion, MI 49224

Participants coming from more than 30 miles may request a travel scholarship for funds to reimburse mileage.
