Gretchen Hill recognized by MI Sheep Breeders Association

Gretchen Hill, professor in the Department of Animal Science, was presented with a Distinguished Service Award at the Michigan Sheep Breeders Association.

Gretchen Hill was presented with a Distinguished Service Award at the Michigan Sheep Breeders Association annual banquet held during Shepherd’s Weekend, Jan. 4-6, 2013. She was presented with a painting and cited for her service to the sheep industry and commitment to animal agriculture. Doug Uzelac, representing the MSBA, presented the award.

Hill teaches swine lectures and lab sections, directs the swine nutrition lab and supervises graduate and undergraduate students. She serves on graduate student committees and the All University Committee on Animal Use and Care.
