Futures Magazine Focuses on 2016 IYOP and Legume Innovation Lab
In honor of the UN's designation of 2016 as the International Year of Pulses, MSU AgBioResearch directors chose grain legumes as the thematic focus for its quarterly publication Futures.
In honor of the UN's designation of 2016 as the International Year of Pulses, MSU AgBioResearch directors chose grain legumes as the thematic focus for its quarterly publication Futures, with the majority of articles featuring Feed the Future Legume Innovation Lab projects and leadership.
Specifically, there are interviews with both Dr. Widders and Dr. Donovan, director and deputy director of the Legume Innovation Lab, respectively, as well as more than 10 articles on LIL projects and associate aswards (i.e., MASFRIJOL and one on a Pulse CRSP story). There’s even a four-page article specifically focused on USAID and Feed the Future’s global work.
Individual articles cover legume-related topics on pest management, technology, nutrition and healthy, improving yield, bean breeding, photosynthesis, and value chains, among others.
