Youth aged 9 to 19 from 40 Michigan counties submitted entries in the 2009 Michigan Week Youth Photo Contest. Twelve winning photos were selected to represent our state and to be part of a touring exhibit for 12 months. The photos are all of historic sites that are at least fifty years old. Sixteen regional winning photos were also selected. Both the state and regional winning photos can be found on the 4-H Web site at http://4h.msue.msu.edu/.

Landscape and portrait photography will be taught at the “4-H Crafts, Visual Arts and Performing Arts Workshop” on October 24–25, 2009 at Kettunen Center. This workshop is for adults and youth aged 13 (by January 1, 2010) and up. For more information on this workshop and about other resources for the Michigan 4-H Photography Project, contact your county MSUE office.
