Lou Twardzik is inducted into the Michigan Recreation and Park Association
Hall of Fame, joining the late Jim Bristor who was inducted in 2005.

Chuck Nelson and Twardzik's daughters and son-in-laws (see picture) along
with many other family members were present at MRPA's induction and dinner
with over 200 guests present.  Twardzik was nominated by fellow faculty
member Don Holecek for his years at MSU as a professor and 13 years of
holding the chair position in the Dept. of Parks, Recreation and Tourism
Management. Twardzik was a true visionary for Park and Recreation services
throughout the world, but his students always came first.
