Michigan Agricultural Credit Conference to be Held October 26

MSUAFRE will host the annual Michigan Agricultural Credit Conference in the Kellogg Hotel and Events Center on Friday, October 26.

The Department of Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics (AFRE) at Michigan State University (MSU) will sponsor and host the 2018 Michigan Agricultural Credit Conference on October 26, 2018, at the Kellogg Hotel and Events Center on MSU's campus.

The conference provides agricultural lenders, agribusinesses, policy-makers, and other interested parties across the state, with updates on the economy and agricultural industries in Michigan and outlooks for the future. Attendees will hear from experts about agricultural policy, the farm bill, agricultural trade, commodity and dairy outlooks, and much more.

AFRE professor Chris Wolf is the coordinator of the conference, and will present the Dairy Market Situation and Outlook presentation. With him, AFRE's Trey Malone and Jim Hilker will share their expertise, along with MSU extension educators and external speakers.

The $95.00 per person conference registration fee includes breakfast, lunch, and educational sessions throughout the day in the Kellogg Center. Participants may register as individuals or group registrations. To register online, go to: https://events.anr.msu.edu/MichiganAgriculturalCreditConf/.
