MSU School of Planning, Design and Construction hosts memorial for interior design professor April Allen

The MSU School of Planning, Design and Construction is hosting a memorial event for Professor April Allen.

The MSU School of Planning, Design and Construction is hosting a memorial event for Professor April Allen on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Human Ecology Building located at 552 W. Circle Drive in East Lansing, MI 48824.

Allen passed away on Nov. 11 from a stroke. She was part of the Interior Design Program and taught the first-year interior design studio, the history of interior design, professional practices and historic preservation courses.

We invite faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends to join us in celebrating her beautiful life.

The 2nd floor gallery in the Human Ecology Building will display her students’ projects and photos of her with students. We will also gather from 6:30 to 7 p.m. to honor her memory and to share memories of our time with her. Beverages and snacks will be provided.
