MSU students awarded in Michigan Antique Festival design competition

MSU interior design junior Claudia Belzer and interior design senior Jacob Hill [students from the MSU School of Planning, Design and Construction] competed in the Central Michigan University and Michigan State University Student Interior Design contest at the Michigan Antiques Festival in Midland, Mich. on May 30-31, 2014.

Belzer designed a dining room with a student from CMU and won the Designer’s Choice Award. Hill’s team designed a bedroom and won the People’s Choice, Judge’s and Sales awards.

The Michigan Antique Festival awards more than $2,000 in scholarship money to students to help continue their education.
