An updated database of insect specimens in the A.J. Cook Arthropod Research Collection is now live at Symbiota Collection of Arthropods Network. This new platform allows web-based entry of data and immediate public access to currently around 77,000 records. Species holdings, bark beetle and Michigan Lepidoptera specimens represent these records. The database is continuously updated with specimen records and volunteer opportunities to contribute to this effort are available. If are you interested in volunteering please email Anthony Cognato at cognato@msu.edu).
