Position Description
The position is a tenure-track, joint appointment between the Department of Telecommunication, Information Studies, and Media and the Department of Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics. The successful candidate is expected to have a Ph.D. in one of the following fields: communication, information, development economics, or policy. The cross-disciplinary nature of this position requires the ability to conduct high-quality research across both ICT4D and economics. The new appointee is expected to situate his/her research at the intersection of communication and development. The successful candidate is also expected to gain international recognition through peer-reviewed scholarly publications, to obtain external research funding, and teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Research experience in the developing world is desirable.

Salary Negotiable and commensurate with past experience.
