SPDC Welcomes New Academic Advisor

The School of Planning, Design and Construction would like to welcome Marcus Martin, our new undergraduate academic advisor

As the 2023-24 academic year begins, the School of Planning, Design and Construction would like to welcome one of our new undergraduate academic advisors, Marcus Martin. Marcus received his Bachelor's degree from Stillman College in Piano Performance and holds a Master of Education: Postsecondary Leadership. He has also earned a Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Postsecondary Education from Michigan State University and is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Higher Education Administration  at Central Michigan University.

Marcus will be advising undergraduate students in the Construction Management and Urban and Regional Planning programs. He will also be active in Student Advisory Council SPDC Undergraduate Clubs as well as the Faculty Advisory Michigan State University Gospel Choir. In doing so, Marcus will draw from 10 years of experience in higher education including instruction, advising, success coaching, coordinating, recruiting, and retention.

SPDC is happy to welcome Marcus to the school and excited for another excellent year!
