Last year's program fee was about $3,100 and includes the following: application fee, deposit, pre-departure orientation, accommodations with breakfast, on-site ground transportation and field trips. It also includes the required accident and sickness insurance coverage while overseas. This policy provides for supplementary health insurance, assistance in locating the nearest, most appropriate medical care, and medically necessary evacuation.

Once enrolled in courses, students will receive a bill from the MSU Student Receivables Office for the Study Abroad program fee and MSU tuition and fees, based on the number of credits taken. Students will enroll in courses according to the MSU enrollment schedule.
Program fees, dates, and arrangements may be subject to change due to unexpected circumstances.
Financial Aid & Scholarships
Financial assistance is available when students make appropriate arrangements with OSA and MSU's Office of Financial Aid. All students planning to use financial aid toward a study abroad program must indicate their intentions on the study abroad application. Non-MSU students should check with their home institution's financial aid office.

Additionally, MSU students may apply for scholarships (based exclusively on academic performance or based on both academic performance and financial need) offered through the Office of Study Abroad. Requirements are listed in the application instructions for each type of award. The deadline to apply for the scholarships is October 1st for winter break programs.
In addition to the normal sources of financial assistance, The College of Agriculture and Natural Resource also offers its students special study abroad scholarships. Check with Paul Roberts or the Office of Study Abroad for further details. A limited amount of funding is also available from the Department of Resource Development.
