Susan Cocciarelli worked with CRFS as academic specialist focused on community-based finance, asset building, and regional agriculture and food sector development. Susan is now retired but may still be contacted regarding her resources and publications availble on the CRFS website. With CRFS, Susan provided technical assistance, research efforts, and effective practice-sharing toward these efforts. Susan’s work experience includes technical assistance in developing capitalization strategies in conjunction with farm development programs. Her work included: co-coordinating with The Carrot Project a national applied research project called Financing Farming in the U.S.; convening a Sustainable Agriculture Skills Sector Alliance with the Northwest Michigan Council of Governments and the Center in the northwest lower region of Michigan.
