Taylor's programming areas include youth events like the State 4-H Horse Show, Jamboree, Trail Ride, and many others.

Taylor grew up in Michigan showing American Quarter Horses with her family. As her college career began, her showing came to a halt, but her interest in the horse industry has remained strong. Taylor's studies focused largely on Extension and education programming. As an instructor, Taylor works closely with Karen Waite on many of the Equine Extension Youth Programs coordinated through Michigan State University Extension and eXtension. Additionally she coaches the MSU Horse Judging Team and advises the MSU Equestrian Hunt Seat Team.

Taylor now lives in Ovid, Michigan, with her husband Mitch, daughters Caroline and Claire, and many pets, including her Quarter Horse gelding Ozzie whom she shows in All-Around events.
