Allen Russell is a Community Nutrition Instructor for the Health and Nutrition Institute at Michigan State University Extension, focusing on nutrition programs. He regularly works with partners to offer educational programming in the community at their sites, virtually and at the Monroe County Extension Office.

Allen takes special interest in Monroe County non-profit organizations. He has been a 4-H Volunteer & Leader for over 30 years, with the Russell Rangers and Green Growers 4-H Clubs. Allen maintains and provides education at multiple community gardens in Monroe County. He enjoys extension education and has been part of the Monroe County MSU Extension Office for over 10 years.
