Yanan Jia is a PhD student at the Department of Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics, Michigan State University. Her current research interest concerns behavioral economics in agriculture and on-farm determinants of food safety and food quality. She came to AFRE in 2017 from China and expected to explore more in the field of agricultural economics. Yanan hopes to equip herself with solid economics foundation and economics analysis skills as well as shape her mind to grow as a sharp minded economist in the future.
