 Global Youth Institute in Des Moines, Iowa, October 16-18, 2014

 Michigan 4-H Global Youth Institute at 4-H Exploration Days, June 18-20, 2014

Up to two high-school teens will be selected to represent Michigan at the Global Youth Institute held in Des Moines, Iowa, October 16-18, 2014. The Michigan delegates will join more than 250 outstanding teens and their chaperones/mentors from across the United States and around the world for an exciting three-day program to interact with Nobel and World Food Prize Laureates, and more than 1,000 global leaders from 75 countries attending the World Food Prize’s annual international symposium.

To apply for the Global Youth Institute requires:

1. Attendance at the Michigan 4-H Global Youth Institute session during 4-H Exploration Days at Michigan State University, June 18-20, 2014.  To register for the event, click here.  Sign up for session #224 “Shape the Future: Michigan Global Youth Institute.”  Registration closes at the end of April and there will be space for 20 teens.

2. A completed  Michigan 4-H Global Youth Institute application.
