Wholesale Success Interview Videos

February 11, 2013 - Susan Cocciarelli

In February 2013, CRFS, the Northwest Michigan Council of Governments, MSU Extension, Michigan Land Use Institute, and FamilyFarmed.org hosted "Wholesale Success: A Workshop for Fruit and Vegetable Growers" at the Northwest Michigan Horticultural Research Center. Open to farmers from across the state, the Wholesale Success training, supported by funds from the US Department of Agriculture, offered in-depth information about selling to the wholesale market, and created an opportunity to meet with prospective buyers (independent grocers, food co-ops, restaurants, resorts, schools). Videotaped interviews with a cross section of buyers and with the trainer, Atina Diffley, are available at the link provided.
