Download and Installation Instructions

Suggestion: Print these instructions before clicking to download the Patch!

IMPORTANT:

  1. Know the File Name being saved! This is shown in the "File Name" field at the bottom of the Save dialog box.
  2. Know WHERE your file will be saved! This is shown in the "Save In" box at the top of the screen.

When you click to download the Patch:

  1. If your browser asks if you want to "Open (Run)" or "Save (this program to disk)", CHOOSE SAVE!
  2. You may change the destination location (where it is being saved) to something easy to remember:
    Suggestions: Desktop; a folder on your desktop like Downloads; My Documents; etc
  3. After it is saved, close your browser.

    4. We strongly recommend that you close all running programs before proceeding to the next steps.
  4. Now locate the patch where you saved it.
  5. Double click the patch file name, which starts the Installation Wizard.
  6. Follow the directions on screen to complete the Patch installation.
  7. Next time you start up Windows Accountant (or PAL), check the version number which is shown in the title bar of the "Home Screen" to be sure it is the new version.
