Fiduciary tax workshop $90

Planned topics include:
- Form 1041 and Schedule B
- Filing requirements
- Calculation of taxable income
- Distributions of property
- Charitable contributions
- Income in respect of a decedent
- Alternative minimum tax
This course is taught live at the intermediate level in a group.
An understanding of estate and gift taxation is required/expected.

Ethics $30
1:30 pm – 3:20 pm
2 Hours CPE
Duties and restrictions relating to practice before the IRS. Ethical behavior expected by tax practitioners, tax preparation procedures, disclosure rules, signatures on a return, consequences of tax planning that fails. Case examples from Michigan, tax representation, and the IRS Office of Professional Responsibility will be reviewed.
This course is taught live at the intermediate level in a group. An understanding of tax preparation and tax forms is required/expected.

Both courses; attend Fiduciary Tax Workshop in the morning and Ethics in the afternoon. Includes lunch.

Sign-in at 8:30 am for Fiduciary Tax Workshop.
Pastries and beverages provided in the morning.
Pre-registration required. Refunds (less $15 administrative fee) will be made if cancellation is made prior to 3 business days before the school.
Lunch is included if attending both morning and afternoon classes.
