This recently developed garden was installed as an effort to address a problematic slope on the property and has turned into a beautiful display in its own right. Plantings are of the rock garden variety as well as other flowering perennials which are placed on a slope in a stepped fashion. We currently have creeping phlox and hens and chicks filling the spaces of the rock ledge. Many more rock garden species of perennials are planned for future years. The upper level of the garden is a fine display of different varieties of Sedum. A small slate patio and bench provide a resting spot for visitors and volunteers. Come and sit awhile with Gerty, our whimsical flower pot lady. She will enjoy the company.
